Who We Are
The Selvage Yard is your new go-to supply stop for the bold, the nerdy, and the wildly creative.
We’re costume designers, sewists, and makers who got tired of digging through bins and overpaying for materials that kind of worked. So we created the shop we always wished existed - curated with the supplies costumers like us actually need. Whether you’re hand-stoning a ballroom gown or hot-gluing EVA armor at 2am, we’ve got your back (and your backstitch).
Welcome to the last costuming store you’ll ever need!
We’re putting the finishing touches on our inventory and can’t wait to open the (virtual and physical) doors! Our online shop is launching soon with discounted pre-orders, and our in-person store will be following close behind.
We’re curating it with costumers like you in mind - from spandex and stretch mesh to rhinestones, thermoplastics, and all the weird little extras in between.
